Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology

Mind Health PLLC, a private neuropsychology practice in Sugar Land, Texas (Greater Houston), is offering a 12-month postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology beginning as soon as possible. The fellowship is designed to meet Texas supervised-experience requirements for licensure and is consistent with Houston Conference guidelines for specialty training.

What you'll do

• Conduct clinical interviews and records review for adult and pediatric, primarily adolescents, outpatient referrals
• Administer, score, and interpret comprehensive neuropsychological batteries
• Write integrated reports with diagnostic impressions and practical recommendations
• Lead feedback sessions with patients and families
• Work alongside a psychometric technician and graduate student trainees
• The Post-doctoral fellow will have their own full-time office with 24-hour access

Training and supervision

• Weekly individual supervision with Carmen Pulido, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist and neuropsychologist with 15 years of experience
• Exposure to referral questions including cognitive decline, ADHD, and learning disorders, autism, and the effects of trauma and substance use
• Protected time for didactics and support toward the EPPP and Texas Jurisprudence Exam
• Exposure to other evaluations (e.g., pre-operative)
• Exposure to Telehealth work

Qualifications

• Doctorate in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program, completed by the start date
• Completed APA-accredited or APPIC-member internship
• Curriculum Vitae and cover letter describing past clinical experiences and present clinical interests and goals
• Strong background in neuropsychological assessment
• Clear, timely report writing

Compensation

• Salary: $60,000 base per year. In addition to base salary, fellows are eligible for a per-report productivity bonus after an initial training period.
• 15 PTO days, 8 paid holidays,  CE allowance, licensure fee support, and malpractice coverage
